At this moment in our planet, people have more interest in stupid things, like how much you spend to buying a car, but you don't listen to your neighbor or a friend or even yourself saying that you are worried for the consequence of pollution or what can we do to make the difference and protect the health of the planet, because we have to admit that it's sick and we are more a symptom of sickness that the solution.

There is many ways to contribute to contaminate less or just don't contaminate. It's so simple that this don't take you a long time, for example you can divide the garbage  on plastic, paper, glass, tinplate (aluminum) and others remains, and with the organic garbage you can do your own compost and use it this later to feed your plants, in my house my mother is in charge of this work. 

My family always is worried for this kind of issues, since I can remember, in the backyard of my house we have a lot of plants and frutal trees, like apple trees, plum trees, peach tree, and my favorite grapevine, and every year we plant a new tree. Of course that is possible because we live in a house with enough space. But if you cannot do something like that, you always can ask if you can plant a tree or flowers, etc. in a park or in a square near to your house.

Once a week my sisters and I left time for separate the recycled glass and take it to the container of Coaniquen Foundation, the paper of photocopies that my nephews and I don't use again we take it to boxes that have in the Hospital Sótero del Rio for recycling (this is for San Jose Foundation).

I really want to have my own bike, maybe in two weeks I can finally buy it, and I think that it is a great way to contaminate less and make exercise at the same time.

From the school to the cyberspace

Hi, today I'm going to write about school bullying.

In the actuality we are so used to hear about this, but not always we pay attention to little details until is too late. In some cases the bullying is not necessarily physical, now the kids spend the time in websites almost the half of the day, and the "social life" is through of internet. In the most of the times, the "online bullying" or “cyber bullying” seems a joke... but this are just the beginning  because within days something that may seem harmless can be transformed into a proof of life for many children and adolescents, which in the worst cases can undermine themselves. Families and schools have shown much interest in recent years to reverse this situation, but this is not easy. Some schools have implemented programs to prevent bullying, but families and teachers realize that this is hard to contain, because violence (physical, psychological, social, etc.) is everywhere, and that is because we live day by day in a violent society, and this is what we are giving to our children.

For a long long time, in music had been bands that went out of the normal parameters, bands that have broken parameters in many ways, bands that let us really surprised and shocked.

I think some of this bands could be: The Beatles or, in a punk way, Sex Pistols. But I would like to talk about The Beatles, because they were a great and famous band that, until today is very famous.

The Beatles was a band born in the 60's, and they were received by the people in a good good way. The audience in that time were crazy about this band, so much that in the year 1966, they decided to stop making concerts because of the madness of the people in their shows. They said that the screams of the people didn't let them hear the music or instruments of themselves.

I think that in the case like Sex Pistols the music is related to a political side like anarchism or rebelliousness, but in a band like The Beatles there's no a explicit political messages , but at the same time in some songs they had a hidden political message (like in 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Band').

In Chile I think that 'Prisioneros' and 'Sexual Democracia' have broken parameters because of the political content in their songs, expressed through the irony and sarcasm. Also, they write about the problems of society, but always in a burlesque way.

Hi everyone! Today I'm going to write about a country I'd like to visit. 

Italy is a country from Europe known by their famous spaghettis, pizzas, and for being the home of many civilizations in the world (Roman, Greek and Etruscan Empires). 

There, I would like to visit Tuscany because of their beautiful landscapes, to taste new foods, and, of course, to taste the best wines of the world. 

Also, I would like to visit the Roman Coliseum, the Vatican, Venice, Florence, Sicily and the isle of Sardinia. But I'll do all of this after I learn to speak Italian, a language that I think it's really romantic. 

I would like to live in that country for a time, and, obviously work hard to pay bills and to enjoy my trip in Italy. It would be fantastic if I make new friends there, because in that way when I come back to my home, I will still talking with them by internet, and who knows, maybe I'll return to that beautiful country.

Hi everyone, in this opportunity I'm going to tell you about my dream job.

My dream job right now would be related to education, but not in the classroom , I like this, but I would like even more work creating innovative educational teaching materials , particularly in relation to early stimulation with babies . For this kind of work must be based not only on research that show the benefits of early stimulation , besides you have to do practical work , I mean that the theory is not useful without practice.

The best thing about this work is is that you not only make an educational project , you also see  the effectiveness of this in the  classroom, not only as an observer , as you interact with the children and they are the best judges when the truth .

It is true that this type of work in our country is poor and that often just stays on the paper , but that ( as it is in my case) have to be highly motivated and be proactive , and obviously have a innovative spirit and wanting to do this work in view of a benefit not only for children, but for society we are building.

Animals as victims of human impact in nature

Without distinguishing sex, religion, age and even less whether they are people or animals, pollution sickens and kills.

As for the animals, and more particularly to marine animals, pollution is wreaking havoc. It’s estimated that every year 1 million birds are killed by pollution ocean marine, and more than 100,000 marine mammals and some species of turtles, which confused plastics for food or are choked with garbage

So, we become in the responsable, because throw away plastic and a lot of garbage into the oceans without considering the consequences.

The existence of plastic in the oceans is alarming. To make visual this sad situation, we can consider the following data: global plastic production is approximately 225 million tons annually, and this amount is recycled only 5%.

Where is the rest of the tons of plastic?

The majority is in the oceans making damage and killing thousands of animals. With all this, clearly must take action on the matter.

In our country, only 7% of the six million tons of waste generated annually are recycled, and the state politics are not helpful, 'cause these was made thinking in others interests

Just are some private entities or small groups of communities doing anything effective to revert this situation.

We have to make the change, with small things everyday  we are making the difference for all.

Books and Movies :) (Free post 2)

Hi every one, in this opportunity the topic is one of my favorite: Books and Movies.

Since I can remember, I always like to read a great book, and a good movie is an excellent company when I have free time. One of my favorite movies is in effect a production based in a book: Rebecca. The movie (that has the same name of the book) was made in 1940, and was directed for Alfred Hitchcock. The geniality of this director was reflected in all the scenes, the story line was captured and the esthetic in the details of the scenography, clothes and custom show us that the finally effect of all the movie was made for this little details, and this details maybe wasn't appear in the book, because was left for the imagination of the reader. So, in this case the change of some ideas or scenes (that don't affect the story line) was important for the finally result: A master piece.

I personal prefer read the books before see the movies, because in almost every book-based movies some scenes (that I think that are important for the story line) was removed or changed and the story is completely different and the audience miss this and they go away with an idea about the story that is not correct. 

So, in general the opinion of the audience about this book-based movies depends of the adaptation of the story line and how the director in the production process use this material to get a great movie, and in some cases the movies are made just for make money and lost the wonderful essence that makes  it in first place in a great story.
